The app

Your notes, your calendar, your tasks
in storage you own

Claernity is four apps that each work on their own and are far more useful together. Notes, Calendar, ToDo and Projects, over one vault that lives on your device or in your own Google Drive. Plain markdown files you can open in anything, forever.

Four apps, one system

Each is complete on its own. Together, a task becomes a calendar block, a note becomes a task, and everything links to everything.

Notes

Folders, cards and previews you can actually recognise, over markdown files with wikilinks, backlinks, tags, daily notes and templates. Paste a table and it stays a table. Drop a PDF and read it in place.

Calendar

Month, week, day and agenda — plus the things a calendar should do and doesn't. Drag a task in to block time, see your capacity for the day, and find out where your week actually went.

ToDo

Projects and groups, main and side lanes, sizes, deadlines, start days, recurrence, routines and waiting-on. Saved views that remember exactly how you like to look at your work.

Projects

The layer that ties them together. A project holds its notes, its folders, its tasks and its events, with a dashboard and a graph across all of it.

How it works

You choose where it lives

On this device

Everything stays in the app's own storage. Nothing leaves your phone or laptop, and you never sign into anything. No feature is withheld.

In a folder

A real folder you pick. Obsidian can open the same folder. Drop a file into it and the app picks it up.

In your Google Drive

A folder Claernity creates in your own Drive, with the same structure as the app. Your notes, on your own storage allowance, on every device.

We ask Google for the narrowest permission that exists. Claernity can only work with files it created, plus files you explicitly hand it. It cannot see anything else in your Drive — not because we promise, but because the permission makes it impossible.

AI

Bring your own assistant

Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your vault and ask about your own notes in an ordinary conversation. It reads your vault and nothing else — not the rest of your Drive, not your device, and nothing until you connect it.

The thinking runs on your own subscription or your own API key, so it costs us nothing and we never see a word of it. Everything an assistant writes is stamped, logged inside the app, and undoable in one tap.
